This leather wallet FAQ answers common questions about Intovention wallets, card holders, RFID protection, leather care, delivery and returns.
Are your products really handmade?
Yes. Intovention wallets and card holders are made in small batches with hand cutting, hand stitching, edge finishing, and careful final checking. Every stitch is drawn by hand, and each side and corner is burnished smooth as part of the finishing process.
What does burnished edge finishing mean?
Burnishing is the process of smoothing and sealing the leather edges through hand finishing. It helps the wallet or card holder feel cleaner in the hand, reduces the raw-edge feel, and gives the piece a more refined look around the sides and corners.
What leather do you use?
Our current range is made from 100% leather selected for daily carry, structure, and natural ageing. Leather can show natural grain, marks, texture, and tone variation, which makes each piece slightly different.
Which pockets are RFID protected?
Only the outer-side card pockets are RFID protected. The money or note holding pockets are not RFID protected, so a card placed inside the note compartment would not have the same RFID protection.
How many cards can the wallets hold?
Our bifold wallets have 8 pockets in total and can comfortably hold around 10-12 Mastercard-size cards. Capacity depends on card thickness and whether you also carry notes, receipts, or coins.
Which colours are available?
Current colours are Classic Black, Cognac Brown, Forest Green, and Navy Blue. Colours in photos may look slightly different in real life because camera lighting, editing, and your device screen can affect how leather colour appears.
Which wallet should I choose?
Choose the classic bifold if you want a coin pocket and more everyday flexibility. Choose the slim bifold if you prefer a cleaner, thinner profile without a coin pocket.
Which card holder should I choose?
The snap button card holder is compact and secure for cards and folded notes. The pull-tab card holder is best if you want faster card access in a slim daily-carry shape.
How should I care for the leather?
Avoid overfilling, soaking, direct heat, and harsh cleaning products. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth and let the leather develop its natural patina with use. For more detail, read our Leather Care page.
When will my order be dispatched?
Dispatch is usually within 1-3 working days. Delivery estimates and available shipping options are shown during checkout.
Do you offer free delivery?
Yes, UK delivery is free on orders over £25. Orders of £25 or less may have a delivery charge shown clearly before checkout.
Can I return an item?
Eligible unused items can be returned within the return window shown on our Shipping & Returns page. Items should be in original condition and include packaging where possible.
Are payments secure?
Payment is handled through secure checkout providers. Intovention does not store full payment card details on the website.
Is gift packaging available?
We are preparing gift-ready packaging for selected products. If you are buying as a gift, contact us before ordering and we will confirm the current packaging options.
